[Green] Wetland destruction

I too am concerned about the destruction of the DaVinci Wetland. Its improvement was initiated at least a decade ago. A boardwalk was installed and changes were made with the plant life and the structure of the pond. It is still a pleasant place to walk but bird population has suffered. FInding migrant birds on the body of water used to be common and is no longer so. I remember seeing glossy ibis and longtail ducks and a variety of nesting ducks and herons which we don't see there any more. I don't think that's an excuse to destroy it and make construction property out of it but I hope we do find a way to bring the bird populations back.

I feel that it is important for you all to be aware of this.
