[Green] Sustainability grant offered locally!

Let's talk about it online.  I will think of some ideas for a budget.
But we don't have to make things happen fully by fall. The first leg of
the forum could be to use the survey with some sort of rewards to get
people to fill it out, then have an online event to share the outcome
and work towards a bigger event.  Then based on that information we
could hold the in-person forum a year from this summer or fall.  We can
brainstorm how all of that could work.  A charging station or two
wouldn't cost that much (tops $2,000) but I can't believe that the forum
wouldn't be seen as something worth investing in, plus perhaps Dow would
be interested in lending us some of their marketing talent to promote
the event and the survey.  We can ask for lots of things I would hope -
besides just the $10,000.  Annie

How about this: an electric car charging station (or two) in front of FUUSM that (on sunny days) would be powered by the SUN—on the roof of the sanctuary. Maybe we could have a few small panels installed on posts—part of the charging stations (?) that connected to FUUSMs system, too, but more visible to make it clear that cars charged there would be running on SUNSHINE!!
