39 Years and counting...
The news is full of examples of how people fail at communicating with one another. The global pandemic drags on and even intensifies. Hundreds of thousands march in the streets. Our political system appears disconnected and uncaring. And I hear from dozens of friends who are struggling with isolation, anxiousness and apprehension.
And with all this going on... strangely, I personally feel quite happy and content. Which has me wondering the reasons?
This week I celebrate 39 years with the person of my dreams. We were certainly an odd pair to ever get together - yet here we are nearly 40 years later.
Which has led me to ask myself, “What is involved in moving away through life in these “interesting times” and into a world of finding contentment with better ways of connecting with others?”

Bodacious Woman Pop Up Afternoon Event (June 28th)

A Note from Jay and Me:
This year I've struggled without interns. I miss their insights and company. And the garden misses them as well.
There are still seeds and plants to go into the ground. The good news is that the ground is finally warm.
I normally plant two summer gardens – one early and one late. This year the late one will be very late indeed, possibly producing tomatoes until Christmas at this rate.
The goats are the best they've ever been (whoopee) and Felix is better than ever – following me around like a little puppy.
Jay has been busy mucking out stalls, chopping fire wood, painting his new addition onto the chicken chalet (for the peacocks), oh and finishing up the videos for the new online solar installer class.
This is a brief glimpse of what is happening here. We appreciate hearing about your life as well.
