I have written a letter to the city council urging them to at least postpone awarding a contract if it would be to First Energy until litigation or investigation is complete.

Attached are the minutes from the July 19 GSC meeting, thanks to Adeline Bailey. Please look at them and see if they are accurate or need amendments at our August 16 meeting. (Going to attach them RIGH NOW so I don’t forget.)



Also, I just wrote a short letter to Marietta City Council members encouraging them to cease doing business with First Energy, and encouraging them to find a company that will use 100-percent renewables as their source of power for city aggregation.

Bids close July 31, so the decision will be made sometime after that. Still, July 31 would be a memorable deadline, doncha think?
