Contrats to everyone - we're on our way with Sustainable Marietta. I'd
like to throw out some ideas to consider before our next meeting.
I believe we need to create a virtual Sustainable Marietta meeting. It
would give us a much broader reach in the community, and we have lots of
experience now with producing videos, and small events. The price to us
would be much smaller because there would be no food, no room fee, and
no transporting etc. We would need far fewer volunteers.
We might be able to afford bringing in some really great speakers plus
create an ongoing series that grows our ideas over a period of time
giving people a chance to consider different components in between the
online meetings. We'd also have a track record that could be put up on
You Tube so people could look at it at their convenience, yet
participate in other ways so that a variety of people could participate
in different ways.
We could afford to have a logo designed, and some marketing materials
that would promote the concept of Sustainable Marietta.
Just some thoughts. Annie
