Dear Green Friends,

The Green Sanctuary Committee will meet Sunday, February 16, aiming for 12:30. I won’t be there. Co-chair Annie Warmke will chair the meeting, weather permitting.

Here’s what I know needs to be discussed. If you have other items for the agenda, please send them to Annie by 5 p.m. Thursday, February 13. (At which time I’ll be landing in Oregon.) Annie’s email address is annie at bluerockstations.com <mailto:annie at bluerockstations.com>, or just reply-all.)

Mike Bailey: If weather prevents Annie from attending, will you fill in, please?

1. Approval of minutes from January meeting (Adeline sent them on January 21.)

2. Volunteer for Green Tips for March (Kudos and thanks to Vic for February’s.)

3. Working with Becca Pollard/Sierra Club/Keep Wayne Wild/Sierra Club: scheduling a meeting to encourage public comment on the revised draft plan.
	Fri Feb 28 any time
	Sat Feb 29 any time
	Sun Mar 1 any time
	Mon Mar 2 after 3
As of Feb. 6, all those dates were open, according to Chris Keller.
Dawn votes for Sun, Mar 1, 1-3 p.m. as the Social Justice Sunday event.

4. Adult RE for April: It’s ours, officially. (April 5, 19, and 26; but not 12, since it’s Easter—correct?)
George: the science of climate change and
Vic : environmental impacts on wildlife and information on the Ohio River Wildlife Refuge
Ask for others who have prepared presentations to take other Sunday
	Who is taking which Sunday?

5. Update on CCL: Dave and George

6. Update on Sustainability Forum: Adeline, Vic, Dave and others
	WE NEED VOLUNTEERS
To coordinate Just Dinner on April 3
		Friday night set-up
AV equipment (Mike will handle one room; we need two more for 9, 10, and 11 presentations, possibly 1 p.m. keynote)
		Greeters
Workshop introducers and discussion facilitators (Vic and Annie have volunteered to be facilitators; We could use a few more volunteers to introduce workshop presenters
LUNCH coordinators and servers. (Lunch MUST go like clockwork; need people to set up tables and chairs; set out dishes, silverware & napkins; clean up
		End-of-day clean-up
		Probably many other things

The next planning meeting will be at 7 p.m. Monday, February 24.

7. April 6-10 Solar Training
Lunch coordinators & volunteers. (Dawn volunteers to provide lunch on one day)
Need someone to host Jay from Sunday night through Thursday night, and feed him supper. (He’s welcome to stay at my house, but suppers on weeknights are always challenging, since I work till 6.)
Dawn will post fliers at Post Office, banks, library and elsewhere before she leaves for Oregon; she has already sent a press release to the newspaper

8. Blue Rock Station wants to give us a small solar panel of our very own! (THANK YOU, Annie and Jay!!) We can use it as a demo for Earth Day, and/or Solar Open House, or use it for to generate power, say, in the RE building! (But we probably need a battery.)

9. Anything else?

Whew! That’s a pretty full agenda!
