I attended an online meeting about the proposed Belmont County cracker plant (now mercifully on hold due to financing issues) and the Appalachian Storage Hub proposed for Monroe County, just north of Marietta. The proposed storage hub involves salt cavern storage of fracking waste; the site is downhill from an oil well and a strip mine and is similar to the site involved in the Bayou Corne sinkhole disaster<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bayou_Corne_sinkhole#Impact> in Louisiana.
