Rebecca,
I noticed Annie mentioned our fair trade coffee. It is also organic & shade grown. Bill & I were instrumental in making that happen.

I had already added her. Thanks for the reminder, though.

Thanks for remembering me as one of the Outdoor Ed volunteers. Gwen Noe was one too.

Hello, all,
I am finalizing the talk for Sunday's Earth Day service, part of which will be information on what FUUSM members and friends have done over the years to "cherish the universe and its resources." Things I am remembering include
* Elin Jones, Caroline Putnam, and Karen Barry's involvement in outdoor education for many years
* Brad Bond and the Putnams and the founding of the Marietta Recycling Center (and the ongoing volunteer efforts of many congregants)
* Involvement of many FUUSM folks in the work of Friends of Lower Muskingum River, development of the Kroger Wetland, and the river trail
* Mike Bailey's tireless efforts to get Green Sanctuary work started
* Dave Ballantyne's work with the city on solar issues
* Roger Kalter's tree plantings over the years
* George Banziger and Cindy Brown (who am I forgetting) and the Devola Multi-Use Trail linking to the Broughton Refuge
* Our solar panels!
* Involvement of church members in MOVCA, CCL, and ARECC
* Efforts of so many to live "greener" every day
What can we add to the list?
Rebecca
