Friends,

I think you will agree with me that our virtual meeting in May didn’t go so well. I’m sorry. I should have encouraged more discussion. Thanks to all who did chime in, and thanks to Annie for volunteering to co-chair!!! Yay! Now I just need to figure out how we can share in the steering of this boat!

Our next meeting will be Sunday, June 16, at as close to 12:30 as we can assemble in the RE parlor. The plant sale will begin outside at 1 p.m., and I’m helping with it second shift (2:30 through clean-up), so it will be a busy afternoon.

Here’s what we need to discuss, most of it carried over from our April meeting. What else do we need to discuss? Please send me additional agenda items by 8 p.m. Thursday.

1. Approval of minutes from April meeting.

2. Initial plans/ideas/brainstorming for Sustainability Forum (for which we have a $500 budget, plus another $500 in pocket change).
Andrew has sent some preliminary ideas to Adeline and me. The event will be held Feb. 1 and 2, 2020 and, ideally would kick off Friday, January 31, with a Just Dinner. Many more ideas and brainstorming to follow. Annie Warmke also has ideas and is eager to help plan.
It is my understanding that Andrew cannot attend Sunday’s meeting, but we can still brainstorm.

3. Any news on replacing RE building water heater? Dave

5. Post mortem on Just Lunch at Blue Rock Station. What inspiring conversations came out of it? New ideas for projects?

6. George will give a report on his and Darryl’s Climate Change Science presentations in schools

7. Update on CCL efforts. (Dave or George)

8. Anything else I omitted.

9. Volunteer for Green Tips for July?

Hope to see you Sunday!
