Definitely April 6-10. And a big thank-you to the Warmkes.

Okay, dear Green friends,
Our choices for the Solar Installer class are apparently March 30 to April 3, or April 6 to 10. I think we kind of have to go with April 6 to 10–with gratitude to Jay and Annie for their flexibility.
The earlier date would have the class ending as we’d be setting up for the opening event of the Sustainability Forum.
The later date would have the class starting the morning after the Sustainability Forum ends. To me, that seems easier on us. We’ll be breathing a sigh of relief that the forum is over.
Please reply with your vote!
Thanks!

The mistake is that it should have been March 30 to April 3rd. The dates on the MOU reflect a 9 day span of time. Too many irons in the fire that day and I broke my own rule of having someone look at it before it went out. Jay suggested April 6th week which might not be much better but not a lead up to the forum. We don't have a lot of flexibility with dates at this point. Maybe we could have a sign up for a different person to volunteer to provide the lunch. Jay can set up and let himself in and lock up after class since he knows the routine now. Plus the forum advertising could also promote the class. Jay can get you a flyer (I posted one at the board at church) and the press release from last year works fine.
I thought the meeting went well yesterday and people are working hard to make good decisions. Birthing these types of things is often painful but at the very least challenging.
When I have some time I plan to look at the piece Rebecca sent yesterday to see if there are ideas there to build on. I feel bad that I can't be more help. At some point I can help by putting together a short script and creating something to hand out to advertise joining the UU Green Sanctuary group or a volunteer jobs list. Whatever works best. I'm not good a meetings these days. I'm too impatient I think, but my heart is in the right place and I want to be of service. Also I think if we had a break down of jobs that are needed to be filled it would help you not to feel like you have to take it all on while juggling a busy schedule in all aspects of your life. I don't know how you do it but I don't want to add to it with my impatience so don't hesitate to give me feedback on how to be more helpful.
Thanks for being YOU. I appreciate your passion and utmost kindness. Annie

Dear Annie and other Greenies,
Whew! The memorandum of understanding for the Solar Installer class this spring says the dates are April 30 to May 3. It’s attached.
Thanks!
