The 15th makes sense. Becca and her SC volunteers (who would be facilitating) can also do a weeknight if that is better. They are also pushing to get a date in their online schedule.
Does September 15th work for the community public lands discussion? The SIerra Club would like a fairly early date as they hope to schedule a follow-up event to be held outdoors.
And have we confirmed a date for the Beat Climate Change coffeehouse? I want to get us listed as an official event on the Climate Change Theatre Action<http://www.climatechangetheatreaction.com/> website.
And I can take notes again.

Subject: [Green] Call for agenda items
Friends,
This is your monthly call for agenda items for the August 18 meeting of the Green Sanctuary Committee.
But first, for purposes of the Confluence (for which content is due ASAP), we need to decide early on a date for the community discussion on the Wayne National Forest, as requested/proposed by the Sierra Club. It makes sense for a Social Justice Sunday, but September 1 is Labor Day weekend and the county fair; September 8 is the Sternwheel Festival. Should we propose September 15? Everyone, please let me know your thoughts on this soon. If necessary, I can describe the event for The Confluence, but say “stay tuned” for the date and time.
Here’s what I can think of that we need to discuss. What have I forgotten? Please let me know by Saturday evening at 7. Also, we’ll need a substitute scribe again, since Adeline’s writing wrist is still healing but immobile. A volunteer, please?
1. Approval of amended minutes from July 21 meeting, attached
2. Call for volunteer for Green Tips for October orders of service
3. Annie, or other member, will you chair meeting in November, because DAWN WILL BE IN THE GALAPAGOS on November 17!!!!
4. Harrison installation of on-demand, under-sink water heaters in RE bathroom and kitchen, bypassing the big ol’ water tank in the basement: A majority of the GSC voted via-email in favor of the proposal. Any updates, such as when this will happen?
5. Post mortem on recycling at the YMCA race
6. Any CCL updates? Dave and George will meet with Rep. Johnson on August 19!
7. Reminder of Oct. 5 hoedown fundraiser in Shari and Dave’s barn hayloft!
8. Reminder of November 16 “Beat Climate Change” Coffee House. (Which Dawn can’t attend because SHE WILL BE IN THE GALAPAGOS!!!)
9. Anything else about the Sustainability Forum, Jan. 31-Feb. 2?
10. Is anyone planning to attend the Climate Change and Public Health forum in Morgantown on Sept. 21? If so, carpool?
11. Things I forgot.
Thanks for being on the committee!
