[Green] Harrison Construction quote for RE Building Hot Water plumbing changes project

Dawn and Green Sanctuary Group,

Building and Grounds Committee at their meeting this morning approved endorsement of Harrison Construction's current current quote proposal for the "RE Building Hot Water plumbing upgrade project."  Their endorsement means that the project meets their assessment of the technical aspects of the proposal for the needs of the RE Building, and they support you moving ahead with contracting for the project with Harrison Construction Inc..

The quote is for $1840 for:
Disconnect and cap lines to bypass the existing hot water tank system while leaving it in the RE basement for future decision on its disposal.  Provide and install two (2) new "on demand" 110 V hot water units in the bathroom and at the kitchen sink.  Includes all required wiring, breakers and plumbing pipe parts.  Included any adjustments required at the sink locations.  Clean up and haul all related work site debris - except for the hot water tank.

Includes donation of a sink, cabinet and faucet fixtures for installation in the bathroom and all necessary associated plumbing parts.

The project is intended to be funded by the Green Sanctuary Energy Efficiency Matching Fund.
