[Green] Green Sanctuary Committee meeting: Call for agenda items

Hello Greenies!

It’s that time of month again:  The Green Sanctuary Committee will meet as close to 12:30 as we can make it on Sunday, December 16. So here’s what I’m sure we need to cover:

1. Approval of the minutes from the November meeting, attached. I’m sorry I failed to send them a long time ago!  But I’m DELIGHTED that the GSC now has a succinct and accurate mission statement!  Thank you!

2. January 18 Just Dinner plans

3. Solar classes: 
a. Note: Date of installer class has moved to March 18-22 (contrary to the November meeting minutes). 
b. We need to publicize the continuing ed class ASAP.  I will draft a press release for local media outlets, and a draft letter to organizations, institutions and individuals mentioned in the November minutes, as well as local architects, engineering companies, contractors, etc.  That letter will also mention the solar installer class.
c. Update on scholarship for solar installer class: Dave Ballantyne

4. Update on RE building energy efficiency? 

5. Report from December 1 Conference on Climate Change, held in Morgantown: Baileys and/or Cindy Taylor

6. New handout on recycling in FUUSM kitchen—volunteer? 

7. Updates from Keep Wayne Wild and/or MOVCA and/or other local environmental groups?

8. What else?  Your input here________________


Please let me know what I’ve forgotten by 7 p.m. Friday, December 16.  Thanks for being on the Green Sanctuary Committee!  Hope you can make it to the meeting Sunday.
