Dawn:

Thanks for your message about the April 15 meeting of the GS Committee,

FYI, Dave Ballantyne and I have proposed writing a regular column on renewable energy for the Marietta Times. The purpose would be to provide balance to the regular column written by Bob Chase that always supports oil & natural gas. No response to our first query about this idea--I just sent another message to the editor.

On another matter, our Faithify campaign as part of out match for the energy-efficiency measures in the RE building ends today. The money raised from this campaign should be deposited directly into the FUUSM bank account. I am copying Linda Lawton on this message so that she know it's coming.

He was very interested in the college participating and hosting such an event. He said the McDonough Center would be a great spot to hold the event. He would like to put together a team of MC faculty from various departments, including the science and political science dept, and perhaps leadership program to discuss and make further plans.

Please advise me about the correct procedure.

I will send out the press release to the Mtta Times tomorrow. Any other suggestions for advertising are welcome!

Adeline and I were also talking about setting up an information table, similar to what we have at Earth Day to make it easy and avoid too much extra work. If anyone has suggestions, please bring them to the next Green Sanctuary meeting.
