Dawn:
I'm OK with not pursuing the Just Dinner as a Service Auction item. If we have such events, they should be directed at raising funds for our Green Sanctuary initiatives.
I'll have some information on the Solar Panel Matching Grant initiative for the GSC agenda. The Board decided that donors to the match should be individually consulted about whether they approve of the change in the application of the funds for the project. All donors are being contacted with a special message constructed by the Board. It looks like all these donors will be agreeable. I'll know for sure in a couple of days.

The problem is that only four of us have committed to pitching in to cook. Last year, if I recall correctly, 26 people came to that event, and if last year’s sign-ups predict this year’s, 26 people is a lot for four people to cook for. So I propose NOT offering it as a Service Auction item. We can still decide to offer it as a GSC-catered Just Dinner fundraiser for FUUSM farther on down the road—or not if we determine that most GSC members won’t be around to help.

> a. Winter Gardening Class progress
> b. Solar Match Fund: How to go about local fund-raising before hitting up Faithify. And, now that our focus has changed from raising money for purchase of solar panels, to raising money for making the historic RE building more energy efficient, what should we do? A press release to local media? How to proceed?
