[Green] Minutes, Just Dinner, Call for Agenda items

Dear Green Friends,

Attached, please find minutes from the January meeting. Approving them will be on the agenda for our next meeting, which will be at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, February 19. Please send me other agenda items by 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 15. 

But first, PLEASE DON’T FORGET THAT OUR JUST DINNER IS AT 6 P.M. FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 17. I have “Bake Lasagna” on my calendar for Thursday, February 16. This paragraph from the minutes seems important enough to paste here:

Plans for GS Just Dinner The dinner will be held February 17 at 6:00 p.m. Patty, George, Ralph, and Dawn volunteered to help with set-up at 5:00 p.m.; Adeline will bring informational table tents; Patty, George, Dawn, Chris and Kelcey, Adeline, and Mike volunteered to bring food. Patty and Dawn, and others will help with clean-up. Dawn suggested “Mindful Eating” as the discussion topic. Adeline and Mike will send a reminder to those who purchased seats for the dinner at the service auction, and they will also invite others to join in at $15 per seat, with a deadline of February 12 at 1:00 p.m. for making reservations.

Shortly after our January meeting, I spent some time looking for videos about Ethical or Mindful eating which we might use to spur discussion with our guests. I didn’t fall in love with any I found, but here are a few we might consider—I’d appreciate your input:

FINALLY, Rebecca Phillips and Chase Brady would like to be added to the Just Dinner list, so we’re up to 17 paid attendees—plus ourselves. Cook massive quantities!  This is NOT a pot luck!
