Dear Green Sanctuary Committee member,

Attached, please find the (lengthy) agenda for the September 18 meeting, which Heather Royer will chair. (Thank you, Heather!) Adeline, I hope you will send the minutes out promptly (as you consistently do) so that I can represent the goals and objectives at the Committee Recharge event on Saturday, September 24.

Here is an FYI: I spoke to Wendy Morey and Sue Price (anti clutter committee), Ralph Olander (GS and Buildings and Grounds), and Tabitha Hubbard (buildings steward) about where, specifically, to hang the three framed Green Sanctuary Certificates. We agreed that the large one could go just inside the sanctuary front doors, centered above the literature stand. One of the smaller ones can go on one of our bulletin boards in the Fellowship Hall, and one can go on the wall at the bottom of the steps in the RE building. Tabitha said she would hang the two on the walls. I (or a team of us) can hang the third one on our bulletin board. I hope this is agreeable to everyone.

Also, the anti-clutter committee would like to get rid of the big table between the restroom doors in the Fellowship Hall. It now houses some of our recycling collection boxes. Let’s think about where they can be moved that is still convenient and eye-catching, but takes up less space. I’ve added that to the agenda for your discussion. Let’s do whatever we can to be helpful and supportive to the anti-clutter committee while still upholding our goals and values.

I’m sorry I won’t be able to attend this meeting! I would if I could.

—dawn H.
