I will be unable to attend the meeting as it is our month to host the Bulgaria group but would like for GS (or members who represent other groups--thinking particularly of ARECC) to consider staffing a table at the WVUP Earth Day Expo on April 21 (a Thursday).

Hello friends,
I thought today’s service went very well! Sincere thanks to all who helped, including Jane T-S, who created the lovely drawing on the front of the order of service but got no credit for it!
I apologize that the minutes from the December meeting have not yet been posted on the website. My fault. I’ll correct that ASAP—as soon as I know what I’m doing! I’ll get better at this!
Meanwhile, we have a meeting next Sunday at 12:30 p.m. I hope we can come to order promptly, since the garden workshop series starts at 1 p.m., and some of us might like to attend (I’m speaking for myself). The first session will be Jim Couts talking about developing and maintaining healthy soil. Kudos to Roger for finding a coordinator for this project and getting the ball rolling. I hope you all saw the story about the series in Saturday's Marietta Times. The story misleadingly suggests that the series is on winter gardening, but the schedule of speakers looks very interesting. I hope the community turns out in droves!
Please let me know by 7 p.m. Tuesday if you have topics you wish to discuss at Sunday’s meeting. I’ll send out the agenda later Tuesday evening or Wednesday evening.
These are items will be on the agenda:Global Climate Change Cafe on January 30Just Dinner on February 19Putting the church on a Low Carbon Diet: This is from the December minutes: Mike suggested that a LCD group be formed for the church building and practices, using a committee format to analyze data to see where we are are now in energy usage and conservation. Mark (Redd) will write up a proposal for that idea and present it at the next GS meeting. It’s Easy Being Green revisions. Again, please let me know other items you would like us to cover Sunday—by 7 p.m. Tuesday, OK?
Adeline, will you take notes at the meeting?
Thanks much!
I will genuinely appreciate guidance, feedback, and constructive criticism as I take on this role.
Be careful out there!
