[Green] Budget request?

Dear Dawn,

  Request the money. I suggest $200.00. This doesn't mean we have to spend it, but that it will be there should something unexpected comes up. With the Just Dinner, there may needs that we have not encountered before, and perhaps some people can stop reaching into their pockets to cover expenses that we have been having all along (thank you, Adeline).

Dear Green Sanctuary Committee member,

FUUSM president George Banziger has asked all committee chairs to submit FY budget requests by March 1. Presently, there are no funds allocated to the Green Sanctuary Committee, however we have $165.45 in our account from aluminum sales (thanks, Mike!), and that’s after renewing our membership with Friends of the Lower Muskingum River.

I propose that we do not request any funds be allocated to our committee. But what do I know? Will we need money for the Earth Day?  The Garden Tour? Uh, coffee sales? Next year’s winter gardening series? Something else?

Please tell me if you think we should request funds. Remember, I’m new to this committee, yet here I am chairing it!!
