Hello, all,

As most of you know, I will be moving to Toledo next month, which means that most of the herbaceous plants in my yard will need to be rehomed. Next Sunday, October 20, you are invited to come by 631 Second Street between 2:00 and 5:00 to dig up what you want and take it home with you. (There is a possibility of teenaged-boy digging assistance for a fee.)

The available species include the following (not an exhaustive list as my memory is not to be trusted):
bee balm
purple coneflower
mountain mint muticum
ratibida pinnata
allium amplectens
obedient plant
Mexican feather grass
New England aster
Drummond's aster
white aster (not sure which species)
golden alexander
"Fireworks" goldenrod
Canada goldenrod
wild petunia
coreopsis "Zagreb"
turtlehead
ironweed
Joe Pye weed (enormous specimens with large root balls)
Oriental lilies
daylilies
bearded iris (two antique varieties and some from Nancy Novak)
Brazilian verbena
brown-eyed susan
sedum "Autumn Joy"
catmint
hostas (only those in the lawn strip)

Please bring digging implements and containers as I am nearly out of large bags and have no large pots left.

Rebecca Phillips
