I just heard from a friend of mine about Sean. What an impressive history. Sean has played the pipe organ in many cathedrals across Europe. Now that would be amazing to hear him play on pipe organs that are hundreds of years old in a beautiful setting.

Unfortunately I will be in Wheeling that day. But I highly recommend others to attend this concert.

Dear FUUSM peeps,

 

In today’s mail, we received an invitation from the First Congregational Church UCC of Marietta, 318 Front Street, for a concert. I was intrigued by the name of one of the instruments. Turns out it’s an early spinet (a harpsichord) with strings parallel to the keyboard. See attached.
