[Fuusmchat] Last Night's Discussion of the Minister's Performance

After getting home and sharing my impressions of last night's discussion
with Linda, I can understand why people might be embarrassed to have it
summarized in Confluence. I did take notes and any member who wasn't there
and wants to know what happened can call me at 609 744-7475.

 We have a Conflict Resolution and Grievance Procedure

I think there is merit in "clear, direct, honest and loving communication
with the parties concerned".  I hope we do more of that.  Some of these
personal grievances are misunderstandings that could be resolved if people
would talk directly.

 I did prepare a statement of my impressions of Kat's performance as
minister

but I didn't get a chance to speak last night. Next month Linda and I will
be at a conference in Washington.  But my views are close to those shared
by Virginia and Jim.

 Linda and I have always found Kat to be personable and supportive and
have enjoyed her sermons, although my own preference is for unprogrammed
Quaker worship.

Anyone who is interested in my views can click on the link.  If anyone else
wants to share their written statement or make any comments, I suggest they
use this list to do it.  The guidelines for this list are very broad.
