I cannot attend. But I sure hope this is a very successful gathering to “welcome” Ted Cruz to Marietta.

I will be anxious to get a report about this event.

Tomorrow (Friday) at 5 p.m., many of us will gather on Putnam Street across from the the Admissions entrance to Marietta College to welcome J.D. Vance and Ted Cruz to Marietta. We’re hoping to “wrap the block” so that whatever route they take to get to the to Dyson-Baudo (or whatever it’s called) center will be lined with sign-wielding greeters. I plan to carry my “Vote for the Climate” sign, or maybe my Tim Ryan sign, but you can carry any sign you want.
