[Fuusmchat] cat litter

We switched to pine pellet horse bedding as cat litter a number of years ago. Almost no dust, and a better job with odor control than anything else we have tried. And 40-pound bags are generally $5.99 or less at Tractor Supply.

Rebecca, they're yours. Will have more to come if anyone else wants them. Curious to hear about your use of pine pellets though. I think that could be a good alternative.

I could totally use a cat-litter pail or two!

All is well here with both of us and our cats. We're up north in Scio, where we can be a phone call away from my dad and uncle in case they are in need of support. At 84 and 86, I don't want them headed out to do anything, so we try to step in as needed. They both have bad colds, but hopefully will be on the mend soon.
Chris is on the computer working to help MC professors with online instruction and coordinating some labs at a distance. My school system elected to be on a three week spring break, with learning encouraged but not required/monitored. After the 3 week hiatus, assuming we are still on a stay-home order, we will be transitioning to online education. A challenge that intimidates me with my low-tech skills, so I'm glad to have Chris here to help out when necessary. So far my limited Zooming has worked out well, so we shall see....
Doing some cleaning of the garage this week, and found a half dozen large cat litter pails. Does anyone have a use for them? They would make good buckets (with lids) and I hate to just recycle them. So if you can re-use them, please let us know!
Stay safe and healthy everyone. Sending positive energy!
Kelcey and Chris
