A real riddle: What can you find in mid-March and mid-April, but not in the
beginning or end of those months?
*Have you pledged for FY26-27 yet?*
This is a gentle reminder to make a pledge for the fiscal year that begins
on July 1. Attached is a blank copy of the pledge form, with instructions
on how to make your pledge. Pledges are essential for budgeting--so our
finance committee can predict how best to allocate funds for the upcoming
year. Please pledge to help FUUSM keep going.
*You're Invited to a Party!*
Our congregation's Spring Work Party will be *9 a.m.** to noon on Saturday,
March 28*. Please join the fun. Building steward Wendy Frye has developed a
list of projects inside the sanctuary and RE buildings, and on our grounds.
Additional projects will be added up until Tuesday March 24th. Please offer
observations for possible projects: pews needing repair, tables and chairs
needing screws, or other repairs. If you are unavailable March 28th, there
are projects that may be done on your schedule, such as leaf raking,
kitchen cleaning. Please ask Roger Kalter for tasks. One project will
require 4-6 people able to lift and leverage two pieces of sandstone onto
pallets for removal from our courtyard, which will probably take 10-15
minutes. Donations of food for volunteers' lunch after work is welcome.
Contact Roger Kalter at 740-525-1833.
