I’m sorry to be the bearer of alarming news, but Kat’s house burned this afternoon—completely to the ground. Kat was there at the time, but she’s okay. She was checked for smoke inhalation, but she’s okay. I really don’t know much more than this, except that her phone was destroyed. Friends and neighbors are caring for her. I don’t know how to get in touch with her. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, send positive energy, etc.  Thank god she’s okay, but … everything was destroyed.
