[Fuusm-l] FUUSM Adult Religious Education

FUUSM Family,



Adult Religious Education will be starting up again on a frequency of once
a month.  We will be meeting on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30am in the
FUUSM Fellowship Hall.  The meeting dates will change from month to month
as I try to juggle both singing in the choir and also teaching Adult RE.
There will be an email announcement each month with the date and topic.
Everyone is invited to attend.



The February session will be Sunday, February 22.  The topic will be “Words
to Live By”.  Participants will be sharing quotations that are particularly
meaningful and helpful to them in becoming better people.  The only
preparation needed is to gather together the quotations that speak to you.
We’ll just keep going around the table until we’ve heard them all.  The
goal is to learn from each other through this sharing process.  When we
have done this session in the past, it has been both fun and helpful.



A heads-up … When the choir season ends in June, we will be starting a New
UU class that will run for 8 Sundays from late June to early August.  This
class is essentially UU 101 and is designed to be helpful to new people.
More details to come.



Help needed … We could really use more teachers for Adult RE.  Basic
facilitation skills are all that is needed.  Anybody with experience
teaching or leading discussions is plenty capable.  Please let me know if
you can help.
