*The Office Steps Have Been Water-sealed!*
Thanks to *Ellen Bond *for water-sealing the steps to the office. She did
it Saturday afternoon, when they were bone dry, which gave it time to dry
before Sunday's rains. Thanks too, to Thomas Flis and Squish Thomas (!) for
their offers to do it.

*Coffee Hour News!*
Thanks to *Scott Lacey* for offering to take first Sundays of even months
(starting Dec. 7) as a permanent coffee hour volunteer. Thanks to *Jim
Grecni* and *Debra Miller* for filling in for Martha McG. this Sunday, but
three pairs of hands are better than two for coffee hour. *Can you help
this Sunday?* Please let Dawn know if you can. Meanwhile, we still need a
few permanent commitments for coffee hour hosting a-- three-hour shift just
six times per year! Come on, people! You love coffee hour, don't you?

Don't forget: Collecting for Norwood Thanksgiving!

Please don't forget that we hope to send a big check to Norwood United
Methodist Church to support its Community Thanksgiving Meal. We would like
to have all donations by Nov. 15. Write checks to FUUSM, and write
"Norwood" in the memo line. Mail checks to FUUSM, 232 Third St., Marietta,
45750, or hand them to Dawn when you see her. We'll also be serving
approximately 40 of those meals in the FUUSM social hall to patrons of the
Community Resource Center on Thanksgiving Day, coordinated by Nancy Lee and
Shari Ballantyne.

   6–9 p.m., Washington County for Safe Drinking Water organizing team
   (Dawn Hewitt).

   6 p.m., Men’s Group potluck, social hall. Chris Jacobs will host.

   11 a.m., piano tuner Chris Purdy will do his thing.

   9:30 a.m., Choir practice, sanctuary.

   9:30 a.m., Buildings & Grounds Committee meeting canceled.

   11 a.m., Sunday service, sanctuary. Martha McGovern will answer the
   question: *What is panentheism? *

   11 a.m., MOV Friends (Quaker) meeting, RE parlor.
