[Fuusm-l] Accolades for Today’s Worship Leader, Martha

Greetings all,

Most of you won’t know who I am, but my wife and I are past members who
returned today for the first time in  about 8 years when we heard Evan was
coming back to visit. The service was wonderful, as expected, but I really
wanted to take a moment to commend Martha McGovern on the wonderful way she
handled what could have been a very different situation today.

Martha truly embodied the message of Evan’s service by living her own
principles out loud and treating a visitor who was obviously having a
difficult time with respect and true kindness while reminding the
congregation of their commitment to do the same. Martha set a wonderful
example and it was so encouraging to see this upon our first visit back to
the church.
