Donations needed for the annual FUUSM Plant Sale & Bake Sale
This Saturday, May 31, our annual Plant Sale and Bake Sale! But we need
things to sell, so dig up the overflow from your yard and garden, clean up
your gardening shed of tools, decorative pots, and garden art, and get
baking! We will accept donations of plants and garden miscellany starting
Tuesday, May 27, and foodstuffs on Friday, May 30. Please help! Proceeds of
this sale go toward our Buildings & Grounds committee for the repair and
maintenance of our historic buildings.
Helpers needed for Laura Serna’s celebration of life service and meal
A celebration of life for Laura Serna (Jane Tumas Serna’s daughter) will be
June 7, at 2 p.m., followed by a meal in our social hall. We need lots of
helpers to set up, prepare the dishes, and clean up. A sign-up sheet is
floating around today, or, contact Caring Committee members Lori Fahn or
Stephanie “Squish” Rector to offer help. A large crowd is likely, so please
help if you can.
