NO SERVICE HERE NEXT WEEK! June 22 will be a field trip. We encourage
members and friends to attend the Mid-Ohio Valley Multi-Cultural Festival
at Belpre Civitan Park. On Sunday at noon there will be Interfaith
Devotions. Also scheduled for Sunday afternoon are: 12:30 p.m., Steve Free,
a musician who combines Native American and Appalachian influences; 1:40
p.m., Ugata, a drum performance; 2:50 p.m., Hula Dancers; and 4 p.m., OYO,
a group that weaves together folk, honky-tonk, bluegrass, and rock. For
car-pooling, meet at FUUSM at 10:15 a.m.
(We had originally planned our traditional potluck picnic, but we learned
that facilities were not available to do so at Civitan Park. So, no picnic.)
Last Chance to Sign Up for An Evening at Campus Martius! Join us for FUN &
FUND Raising from 5:30–8 p.m. on Sunday, June 22. $35 per person for ages
18 and older; FREE for 17 and younger accompanied by a paying adult. This
fun event is a benefit for FUUSM, and it supports Campus Martius, an
incredible local historical resource. Discover all kinds of interesting
local history as you have the evening to explore.The whole museum will be
open for our private event, which will include a museum scavenger hunt,
heavy appetizers, and trivia to top off the evening! RSVP to Dawn Hewitt
TODAY!!
We will NOT be able to accommodate event-night ticket sales at the door.
