Keeping with the dinosaur theme: Why can't T. rexes applaud?

*Announcements: *
1. The Marietta Area Recycling Center is desperate for committed volunteers
for two-hour-per-week shifts, mostly doing cardboard. (Remember, our
beloved Brad Bond did cardboard there many hours per week.)  If  you can
help, please contact Ellen Bond (910) 639-9986 or Kathy Ortt (740) 373-3372.
It's important.
2. MARK YOUR CALENDAR: FUUSM's annual* Service Auction *WILL be May 16
after all.
3. Erase your calendar: FUUSM's annual* Plant Sale **will not be May 17.*
We will pick a date at the Rosebud meeting tonight and let you know.
4. Please submit a pledge form with as generous a pledge as you can
afford--ASAP!! Pledges allow our finance committee to know how much money
they will have to work with and allocate as they prepare our FY25/26
budget. Please let FUUSM know how much you plan to give between July 1,
2025, and June 30, 2026, so they can plan wisely.

   7 p.m., Finance Committee meeting via Zoom.

Tuesday, February 25

   3:30–6:30 p.m., Girl Scout Troop meets in the social hall.

   4:30–6:30 p.m. private use of RE parlor (Kim McMichael)
   -

   6:30 p.m., Shari Ballantyne’s game night, social hall. You’re invited!

Wednesday, February 26: FUUSM OFFICE OPEN!!!

Thursday, February 27: FUUSM OFFICE CLOSED (because Dawn has jury duty)

*Friday, February 28:* *DON'T BUY ANYTHING! *This is a nationwide protest
intended to demonstrate the power of the people! Because they're dead—same
reason they don't make good pets (last week's joke).

Saturday, March 1

   9:30-10:30 a.m., Tai Chi for beginners, social hall (Darryl Ting)

Sunday, March 2

   -

   9:30 a.m., Choir practice, sanctuary.

   11 a.m., Sunday service, sanctuary.

   Coffee hour!  Social hall. Ends at 1 p.m.
