What's the difference between Hanukkah and a dragon?

Hanukkah began yesterday at sunset and ends at sunset on Dec. 21. Happy
Hanukkah!


Tuesday, Dec. 16

   3:30–6:30, Girl Scouts in social hall
   -

   4:30, private use of RE parlor (Roger Kalter)

Wednesday, Dec. 17

   -

   6 p.m., Men’s Group potluck, social hall. Gil Moore will host.

Saturday, Dec. 20: Confluence content due

   -

   8 a.m. – 1 p.m., private use of social hall (Willa O’Neill)

Sunday, Dec. 21: Winter solstice

   -

   9:30 a.m., Choir practice, sanctuary
   -

   11 a.m., Sunday service, sanctuary, fourth Sunday of Advent: Joy, “The
   Best Christmas Pageant Ever!”
   -

   12:15 p.m., Coffee Hour, social hall ends at 1 p.m.
   -

   12:30ish, Green Sanctuary Committee meeting, RE parlor.
   -

   One lasts for eight nights, while the other ate knights.


Staff Gifts

Next Sunday, Dec. 21, will be the last day we’ll be collecting for staff
holiday gifts. Please write checks to FUUSM with “staff gifts” in the memo
line, and place in the labeled box in the entryway or social hall, or mail
to the FUUSM office. Our staff includes Lela Erb and Owen Cejka, childcare
attendants; Wendy Frye Paskawych, building steward; Martha Webster, choir
director; Randall Kidder, pianist; and Dawn Hewitt, office assistant.
