[Fuusm-l] The strangest request you will get all day!

Hi friends,

FUUSM is in need of a turkey baster--and an additional step when running
our dishwasher.

Our most excellent building steward, Wendy, discovered that the dishwasher
doesn't drain completely, and water gets trapped, sometimes for long
periods of time, under the removable grid on the front floor of the
dishwasher. Today, she sopped up the dirty, gross water into a number of
sponges/towels/rags, and saved the liquid (see photo). I mean, it's
probably been years since this section of the dishwasher has been
thoroughly cleaned. Then, she ran the empty dishwasher to sanitize it.

We need the turkey baster to suck out this water--more often than once a
decade. Once we get the turkey baster, if YOU (Men's Group, Women's Group,
Coffee Hour, or any other such event) run the dishwasher, please check
under the grid and suck out the (used, but not yet gross) water. OK?

And if you have a turkey baster that you're not using, will you please
donate it? (Sure, we can afford to go buy one, but... maybe we won't have
to.)
