What did the wool hat say to the scarf?
*Thanks and Kudos*
Without naming all the names, THANK YOU to those who decorated the exterior
of our beloved sanctuary, including affixing garlands and lights to our
fence; and to those who decorated inside our beloved sanctuary, giving it a
winter holiday sparkle; and to those who participated in our holiday
card-signing workshop, which will bring cheer to countless of residents of
local nursing homes. And thanks to John Maddox and FUUSM's Membership
Committee for making that card-signing event happen! It takes a village—a
community—and we are a fine example!
*Guest at Your Table Boxes and Envelopes* are still available in the
sanctuary foyer. If you opt to write a check, please date it Jan. 11, 2026,
and make it payable to UUSC with GAYT on the memo line, and put it in one
of the GAYT envelopes. A donation box for GAYT envelopes is in Fellowship
Hall. Questions? Ask Nancy Luthy.

that the holiday season brings a mixture of emotions and also take time to
identify what is especially heartening to us. We will ponder the questions
of “What do you cherish about the holiday season?” and “What is most
challenging to you during the holiday season?” Then we will decorate the
tree with ribbons as we share perspectives that may help us all tap into
the enduring hope of the season. The FUUSM Choir, directed by Martha
Webster, will perform “A Yuletide Greeting” by Victor C. Johnson.
-
12:15 p.m., Coffee Hour, social hall, ends at 1 p.m.
-
You hang around while I go on ahead.
