Celebration of the Lives of Sam and Else Lamba

Aug. 30 at 9:30 a.m., meet at Point Park in Parkersburg to catch the
sternwheeler to Blenerhassett Island, where Sam and Else’s ashes will be
released at 10:30. Celebration of life and picnic to follow at noon at Fort
Boreman Park.

Haikus Wanted!

Feel free to send haikus you have written to Dawn on or before 10 a.m. on
Monday, August 25. She will compile them and submit them for publication in The
Confluence, and maybe we'll post a link to them on the FUUSM website!

Coffee Hour Volunteers Needed!

Coffee Hour volunteers are urgently needed for the third Sunday of odd
months (starting Sept. 21), the first Sunday of even months (starting  Oct.
5) and  the fourth Sunday of even months (starting Oct. 24). That’s a
three-hour shift just six times per year! If you can help, please talk to,
email, text or call Dawn.
