[Fuusm-l] FUUSM Weekly Update for Monday, Aug. 4

When does red mean "go" and green mean "stop"?  (Have I used this joke
before? If so, sorry.)

*Coffee Hour volunteers needed*
Four or five people are needed to fill in holes in the Coffee Hour
schedule. Signing up commits you to just six Coffee Hour shifts *per
year.* It's
about 3 hours per shift: arrive around 10:30 to get the coffee going, set
up, resupply as necessary, clean up, done around 1:30 (usually). Can you
help on:

   - the *fourth Sunday of even months* (August, October, December, etc.),
   working with Martha McGovern?
   - the* third Sunday of odd months* (September, November, January, etc.)?
   We need two (or three) people for this shift--or, we'll have no coffee hour!
   - the *first Sunday of even month*s (October, December, February, etc.)
   working with George and Gwen Banziger?

If you are willing to take one of these shifts, please contact Dawn (
fuusm.office at gmail.com, 740-373-1238). It's important. Thanks for
considering it!

*Childcare volunteers needed (just in case) next Sunday*
Childcare attendant Lela Erb will not be here on Sunday, August 11. We need
one or (preferably) two people on standby to care for children--if there
are any. *The service will be in the social hall *this week, so parents
will be nearby (but meditating).

    9:30–10:30 a.m., Tai Chi for beginners, social hall (Darryl Ting)

Sunday, August 10

   -

   9:30 a.m., New UU class, social hall: Social Justice …  Political
   Diversity
   -

   11 a.m., Sunday service in the SOCIAL HALL!
   -

   11 a.m., MOV Friends (Quakers) in RE Parlor
   -

   Coffee hour!  Social hall. Ends at 1 p.m.
   -
