Please don’t forget to DO SOMETHING about the environmental degradation that seems to be increasing all around us, locally, nationally, and globally. An easy way to do something effective is to attend the Hour of Environmental Action this Thursday at 7, either in person in the FUUSM social hall, or via Zoom:

This month, our special guest will be Sean O’Leary, of the Ohio River Valley Institute. Here’s a link to some of the work he’s done: https://ohiorivervalleyinstitute.org/author/s_oleary/  Clearly, this guy is an expert on energy, especially the dangers and threats of petroleum and petrochemicals, but also on renewable energy, and the electrical grid.

I’m not sure of the exact topic of his presentation, but I’ve asked him to educate us and inspire us to take action—write a cogent letter or postcard, or make a phone call to the exact right decision make—to make effective, positive change. I think it’s going to be good, and it’ll only take an hour.
