*Dear F.U.U.S.M. members and friends:  *

We learned that John Kidd died this morning, the first of September,
2024.  Like
many thresholds in life, we can only hope for some measure of dignity, and
family and friends to gather in love before we die.  This is how it was for
John and Barbara in this time.  He lived life on his own terms, and was
unique in his experiences and service at FUUSM and beyond.  He served on
many committees, including the Committee on Ministries, on staff as
Building Steward with diligence and dedication, and was active in the
monthly Men’s Group gatherings.  We truly miss him.


As we grieve and remember John, we recall his many stories and clever
sayings, like *“Don’t sweat the petty things, and don’t pet the sweaty
things.”*


We will host a Celebration of Life at F.U.U.S.M. in the near future.

For now, I ask you to respect their privacy and focus on supporting Barbara
and the family with good thoughts and warm wishes, recognizing this is a
loss for a long time.
