*The week ahead:*

Today, Tuesday, Oct. 15

   -

   3:30–6:30 p.m., Girl Scout Troop meets in the social hall.

Wednesday, Oct. 16

   -

   6 p.m., Men’s Group potluck, social hall, hosted by Chris Jacobs and
   Jonathan Brier.

Friday, Oct. 18

   -

   5 p.m., Puzzle Party (service auction item), social hall.

Saturday, Oct. 19

   -

   10:30 a.m., Tai Chi reunion, social hall.
   -

   11 a.m.–3 p.m., Hike and picnic at Mountwood Park (a service auction
   item).

Sunday, Oct. 20

   -

   9:30 a.m., Choir practice, sanctuary. New voices are always welcome, and
   we're just starting to learn a new piece!
   -

   11 a.m., Sunday service, sanctuary. Halloween Heros, with Rev. Kat.
   Halloween outfits reflecting a hero are welcome!
   -

   Coffee hour! Social hall. A vegetarian coffee hour to honor Rebecca
   Phillips. Ends at 1:15 p.m.
   -

   12:30 p.m., Green Sanctuary Committee meeting, RE parlor.
   -

   Because it just rolls off the tongue.


Norwood United Methodist Church’s free Thanksgiving Meal needs our help. On
or before November 10, please write a check* to FUUSM* with “Norwood
Thanksgiving” in the Memo line, and put in the collection plate, give to
Dawn, or mail to the FUUSM office. Volunteer to help with the meal by
calling the Norwood UM at (740) 374-5606. Nancy Lee and Shari B. will serve
these meals in the FUUSM social hall to 40 patrons of the Community
Resource Center. Thanks to those who have already contributed!
