Dear FUUSM Folx,


How hard it is to release the ones we love.

Galen LeRoy McCarty, love of my life, partner and spouse died this morning,
Oct. 1, 2024 in hospice care at Marietta Memorial Hospital.


The world’s best hugger has no more to give, but we’ll hold each other as
he would, and feel the love.

He was a rock, standing firm against the flowing river-

like the Muskingum he caught fish in, and the garden he nourished with its
waters.


This last chapter has been hard, but truly a time of blessing I am grateful
for.


Rest in peace and the power of love, my dear.
