[Fuusm-l] Pledge Drive

FUUSM Members & Friends

    We are approaching the end of the 2024 pledge drive. Many of you have
submitted completed pledge forms--thank you very much. We respectfully
request those who have not already done so to send in your pledge (by mail
at 232 Third St, Marietta, OH 45750, by putting the completed form in the
collection plate at worship service, or by emailing me (do not "reply
all"-send a separate message to me if you choose that option). A document
that includes the pledge form and letter is attached.

    At this past Sunday's worship service, Vic Elam, President of the
Board, announced that the Board is considering cost-of-living raises for
the staff. For most staff wages this has not been done since 2021. I think
that we all would agree that such an adjustment is much deserved and
overdue. This addition will add to the expenses in our 2024-25 budget so we
would ask you to consider an increase in your pledge if you can manage it.

      If you have already submitted your completed pledge form and want to
raise your pledge, please send me a separate email message with your new
pledge  amount.
