Please bring a snack to share for coffee hour. Fresh fruit, veggies, and
homemade contributions are encouraged and appreciated. The FUUSM fridge
still contains leftover crackers, some store-bought cookies, a bag of pita
chips, but not much else, and not enough for a welcoming coffee-hour
buffet. We're counting on contributions!
*LOVE: What IS Expected of Us? *Martha McGovern, worship leader
Doves came a-flying; doves came a-flying; on the little crib they sat.
A gentle breeze that rustles the trees, the plaintive song of a dove,
and as you sleep, sweet dreams may you keep
of a world of peace, a world of love.
We pray the world, one dream we can share,
to walk in peace and know no fear.
With hearts as one, we’ll banish pain, and peace and love will ever reign.
The dark of night soon yields to the light and wakes the morning dew.
As children rise, before their eyes,
may their dreams of love and peace come true.
Lyrics of “Luli, Luli” (based on a Ukrainian lullaby). Original lyrics and
melody by Jill Gallina
