FUUSM Members and Friends:

 

Thanks for all who participated and worked to make the 2024 FUUSM Service
Auction a success.   Despite the weather and threats of flooding, we managed
to take in close to $13,500.   

 

There are still open spots on several of the Fixed Price and Live Auction
Items.   Signup sheets for these will be in the Social Hall during Sunday
Coffee hours.  Please consider participating and adding to the success of
the 2024 Service Auction.

 

Item 200 - Perfect Pie Crust Class by Darryl Ting: $40/person:   5 spaces
per class

[Learn to make fool proof quick and easy flakey pie crust.  In FUUSM
kitchen.  Bring your own mixing tools/bowls.  Additional classes to be
scheduled ]

Item 204 - Seven Up and Popcorn by Dawn Hewitt.  Starting May 24th:

[The UP Series is a British documentary following a cohort of ten people
every seven years from the ages of 7 (in 1963) to 63 (in 2019)  - hence the
title Seven Up.   First viewing of first two sessions (90 minutes) on May
24, 2024.  Followed by discussion.  Popcorn and 7-UP served.  Then we'll
schedule 21 Up for a month or so later; then 28 Up, and so on, aiming to get
through the entire series before the 2025]

Join Stassa Phillips and Robin Bozian for step by step instruction on making
traditional Greek spanakopita [spinach and cheese pie].

Prepared by Nancy and featuring a [former] spouse's award winning Cioppino
(spicy tomato based stew featuring shrimp, scallops, and white fish). If you
