[Fuusm-l] No bathrooms, no water, NO COFFEE hour?

Friends,

I’m just the office assistant, not in a position to make an executive decision like this, but: with the sewer lines closed, we can run no water, flush no toilets, wash no dishes or hands, all of which means: NO COFFEE HOUR this morning.

The river is at its crest right about now, but it is at just shy of 38 feet, which is within flood stage, and will take a few hours to fall to 35 feet or below. We’d be crazy to open those lines right now.

If you need to use a bathroom, go to the RE building, upstairs (it will be unlocked for the Quakers). If you have mobility challenges, you might want to attend the service from your home via Zoom or Facebook today.  

This really isn’t an executive decision—I’m just explaining the impacts of a building with the sewer lines turned off.
