[Fuusm-l] UUA Mediation

At the monthly FUUSM Board meeting on Monday, September 11, 2023, the Board discussed the recommendation from the September “Dialogue Session”.  After considerable discussion, the Board determined that Karen Binkley, Board president, should contact Beth Casebolt to request mediation from the UUA. The Board also determined that we were interested in employing the UUA’s “Hope for Us” option to help us deal with our concerns.  On a phone call with Beth Casebolt, she stated that all parties must agree  before starting the mediation process. The UUA  must first determine whether this situation is “solvable” and that not too much “harm and damage” has already occurred.
