FUUSM Family and Friends,


David Ballantyne succumbed to pneumonia this afternoon at Holzer Medical
Center in Gallipolis where he received good and compassionate care for 3
weeks.


His beloved wife Shari is home now and appreciates cards of condolences as
she enters a period of mourning.  Shari is deeply grateful for your ongoing
love and support of them both.   A Celebration of Life will be planned for
later in July.



The measure of a man-  6 foot, two and a half inches tall.  Dave had great
vision and commitment to the FUUSM community, helping us to move forward
with the Solar Panel project in 2016 and the Values Trust Fund to establish
grants that could support projects to help FUUSM demonstrate our values in
the wider community.  There is so much to be grateful for: in his presence
at Men’s Group, in the choir, and with every aspect of congregational life
and leadership.   There will be so much more to say of his life and love.


Spirit of Life, come to thee.
