[Fuusm-l] 2023 Clothing Giveaway

Dear FUUSM Members & Friends -
A BIG thanks to all who donated or helped with the winter clothing giveaway.  We believe some very needy people benefited from our efforts, and for that we are grateful. We had quite a few parents with young children who were able to find items for the whole family, and we were glad to be able to serve that need. 
Pat and Paul LaPoint supplied nearly all of our  children’s items, including several new or like new winter jackets. I wish I’d taken a picture of the two little brothers, maybe 3 and 4 years old, who each picked out a coat and immediately put them on, smiling from ear to ear and showing everybody. They were so proud. 
Many “customers” commented on the number of nice things we had and the way it was all organised.  Hearing that helped make all the time and effort seem all the more worthwhile. 
We are happy to have been able to do this for the community. It would not, of course, have happened without the FUUSM family once again coming together to make it a reality.
