This weekend we learned that Suzyn Mills has suffered the loss of her
beloved husband Mark Neyman.  Some of us often remark that we hope to live
right up until we are done, and that is the case with Mark.  The stress of
his hospitalization in Washington State where they were vacationing was
certainly unforeseen, unexpected and a momentous challenge for Suzyn.


We join with all those in the wider community who mourn his death and we
will especially miss his good humor and the ready smile that twinkled in
his eyes.


Mark graduated from Marietta College in 1962 and has been a vital part of
Marietta community and culture.  Suzyn & Mark were married March 22,
2013.  Their
home was a place of hospitality, with good books, good music and good
friends.

We extend our heartfelt sympathy and support to Suzyn in this time of
transition.
