Dear UU Members and Friends:
The annual UU yard sale will take place as referenced above.  Shari Miller and Nancy Lee will co-chair, but your help is needed. 
1). Please start thinking about items to donate. No clothing, accessories, books, 8 track tapes or broken/obsolete equipment, please. 
2). We are again asking that you clearly and securely price your items before dropping them off. We know it’s a pain, but it’s the only way a sale this big is manageable with a limited number of volunteers. If you are unable to price your items yourself, we will accept a $20 donation or a couple of hours helping price and sort in exchange. 
3). Like last year, we are not planning a member preview. However, if you’re interested in checking out the inventory before the sale, please feel free to do so in exchange for some help in sorting, etc.,when we have the fellowship hall staffed. 
Last year, it seemed we had fewer donations than usual. It could be that we’re all running out of items to donate, or it could be because we asked for the pre-drop off pricing.  If you can’t pre-price, please don’t let that keep you from donating. We will manage. 
More information will be made available in the coming weeks. In the meantime, we ask that you start bringing bags and newspapers for day of sale item wrapping.  We will place receptacles at the rear of the fellowship hall for this purpose. 
Thank you in advance for your help in making this another successful event, and kudos to the plant sale team that raised $1900 last weekend!
